WHO and the UN Climate Change sign an agreement to tackle public health challenges as a result of climate change

We applaud the collaboration between WHO and UN Climate Change Secretariat. It is an important move towards mitigating the health impacts of climate change. One of the main points of the agreement is “Improving countries’ capacity to address health in National Climate Action Plans and National Adaptation Plans”. We look forward to learning more about the strategies to improve health by addressing inefficient existing buildings and harmful indoor air quality.
